Returning Your Deposit
Once your tenancy has ended, we will begin the process of reviewing your tenancy deposit in line with the terms of your agreement and the relevant deposit protection scheme.
We will compare the original check-in inventory and condition report with the final check-out inspection to assess any changes in the condition of the property. This helps determine whether any deductions are required for damage beyond fair wear and tear or outstanding rent.
Where deductions are necessary, these will be supported by relevant evidence such as contractor invoices or repair costs, ensuring full transparency throughout the process.
Before any funds are released, we will always contact you to agree the proposed deductions and final amount. Once agreed, your deposit will be returned promptly in accordance with the rules and timeframes of the deposit protection scheme.
